How does enrollment/unenrollment affect course activities and groups?

1. Create groups, add members to groups.
After enrollment/unenrollment, group records will not be retained.

2. Report-Logs
(1)After a student is unenrolled from the course their browsing history will not be deleted.
(2)If they are re-enrolled later, their browsing history will still be retained.

3.Report-Course participation
(1)After a student is unenrolled from the course, their personal data and all actions will be deleted.
(2)If the student is re-enrolled, all previously performed actions will be restored.

4.Recover Grades Settings
Go to Site administration > Grades > General settings

There is an option "recover grades default", when checked, will restore the grades of re-enrolled students to their previous state.

5.Personal Quizzes
(1)Enrolling or unenrolling students does not affect the retention of quiz grade records.
(2)In the reporting settings, quiz grades can be displayed in the grade overview based on whether students are enrolled in the course. Therefore, even if a student withdraws, their grade records still exist.


6.Forum
After a student is unenrolled from the course, their discussion forum posts will not be deleted.

7.Group Feedback
(1)The unenrollment record of students will be deleted.
(2)After rejoining the course, they will appear as individual members without group status, and the feedback records will still be absent.
(3)When students are grouped together again, the feedback records will be restored.

If students are divided into different groups, the records will still be there, but they will be categorized under different groups.


8.Feedback-Personal
After students are enrolled or unenrolled, the feedback results remain unaffected, and the records will not be deleted.
