Yakitory streaming server
Yakitory is a mp4 video streaming server. It's integrated with variable LMS ( Learning Manager System).
Advantages of Streaming Media:

- Video data is not copied; streaming playback allows you to control the distribution and copyright of your media; real video data is not copied to viewers' storage devices.
In addition, Yakitory, when integrated with LMS such as Moodle or Canvas, can convert videos provided by teachers into streaming videos, enabling more students to learn and providing a better viewing experience.
It offers a web interface for uploading videos, with automatic format conversion by the server to various formats compatible with computers, browsers, smartphones (iPhone, Android), tablets, etc.
It provides hierarchical permission management and comprehensive video management, creation, and sharing functions.
Supported video formats include: avi, flv, mp4, mpg, mpeg, mov, mkv, m4v, m2ts, ogv, vob, wmv, WebM, 3gp.
The streaming media platform can be used with Moodle activity plugins - Videos (MP4). It can also be used with open edX alongside Videos Block.
Moodle and Streaming Media Platform:
Yakitory is kind of HLS(MPEG-DASH live streaming).
The stream is published in the MPEG-TS format over HTTP. This makes it possible to use all the power and flexibility of nginx HTTP configurations including SSL, access control, logging, request limiting etc. MPEG-TS is a widely adopted, well known and well documented streaming format.

File sizes for 90-minute videos at different resolutions:
- For 1080p resolution: Approximately 45.3 GB
- For 720p resolution: Approximately 20.1 GB
- For 480p resolution: Approximately 8.96 GB
- For 360p resolution: Approximately 5.03 GB
